Happy 4th of July!

Hello world!
Can't believe it's already June! Here are some pics from Mother's Day weekend. David built some wonderful shelves in the garage (thank you, sweetie!!) and Tyler was his right-hand helper. He had a great time learning to use a hammer and screwdriver. He's pretty good too! He also took out a bunch of screws from an old board so that David could re-use it. We were impressed!

Jayne continues to grow so fast. She's crawling everywhere and even starting to cruise around (gasp!). She loves to stand up and has even started letting go... Yikes. I'm in for a wild ride! :0) Actually, I can hardly wait, though I'm nervous about it too... I don't want her to stop being a baby quite yet.

Jayne LOVES swinging! Grammie & Papa have a swing at their house and she smiles and scrunches her nose every time she gets in. She kicks her legs too if the swing stops moving to ask for more!

Jayne & Tyler love bathing together now. It's great not having to do separate baths anymore, and they have such a great time together... especially the little miss.

Mid-May we had a crazy lightening & thunder storm with lots of hail. He had a great time making a snow man, of sorts. ;0)It's been raining a lot here... getting lots of use out of those boots!

A sad event in May...my grandfather's funeral. My mom worked so hard to put together a beautiful day and it showed. While the day was very bittersweet, it was wonderful to be with family.

Back to fun times at home.... Watermelon eating.

Also, another fun trip to Cheryl's horse ranch to see all the baby foals! Tyler got to feed one of the mommies a carrot.

Finally... A trip to the Folsom Zoo for Mason's birthday party and a fun ride on the train. Can't wait to go back again!

Easter

Happy Easter! What a wonderful season to celebrate the resurrection of our Saviour. I love this time of year with the beautiful sunshine!!

We went up to Paradise to visit my grandparents the week before Easter and saw all the family. Jayne loves her Grammie. It was a bittersweet trip... we had to say goodbye to my Grandpa. He passed away that Wednesday. The boys planted a flowering cherry tree in my Grandma's front yard in his honor.

Easter Egg Hunt at Papa and Grammie's House. It was so hard to get both of the kiddos to look at the camera. I think this was the best one we could get.

Happy Heart Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! We had a fun day at home. When Tyler woke up from his nap his door was decorated and I sent him on a scavenger hunt following red arrows throughout the house to find treats.

The hunt ended at the kitchen table and we made Valentine's cards together.
He's at such a fun age!

Jayne had a nice V-day too... even though she has a cold right now. :0(

The night ended with a special dinner with Daddy and chocolate dipped strawberries! Hope you all had a fun night too with the ones you love!
