Snow Trip 2010

We finally made it to the mountains in mid April to take Tyler to the snow. We were thankful for the longer snow season since our winter schedule was so busy. Of course, Tyler loved the snow. It was a little too hard to go on the saucers, and their wasn't enough on the street to go sledding, but we still had a great time. At his age it's just fun to play in the snow.

Time with Family

We've had a great chance to make two trips down to the Los Angeles area recently. We went down at the end of February and saw some good friends, the Pickard's, and Dave had a certification test for work (that he passed!). That same weekend we also were able to see my sister one last time before she had her baby, and also my in-laws too.

Tyler and I went down to Ventura again last week with my folks to meet baby Elias. It's been a whirlwind these last few weeks, but lots of fun with family and friends.

Apple Hill Adventures

It's a family tradition is to visit Apple Hill every year in the fall. Adam, Ali and Noelle were able to join us this year which made it extra special!
We only made it to two farms this year due to freeway road construction delays and local traffic in Camino. Despite the delays, we had a fun, wonderful and sunny day. It wouldn't be fall without Apple Hill cider, pies and, of course, apples. The Black Arkansas apples are my favorites!

Tyler on the Pumpkin wagon --- do you like his outfit?!? He got pooped on and we had to change his clothes. Of course we didn't get any pictures in his original orange/fall clothes! Oh well. :0)

Crusin'

What an amazing week on the east coast! We just returned from a cruise with Dave's family & family friend, Joan - round trip through New York, up the coast into Rhode Island, Boston, Maine & Nova Scotia to see the fall colors.

Beautiful weather and country side. We only had one day of rain (plus a crazy rockin' sea day... the boat listed for several minutes...flying plates and everything... crazy!). Nova Scotia was incredibly beautiful and New York is just as amazing as everyone says. Hopefully we c
an return someday and spend more time in the city.

While cruising may not be the ideal vacation for an almost-two-year-old, Tyler did fantastic. He was the hit of the ship with all of the grandparents on board!
Here are some pics to highlight our trip.
